Reasons why I am mad at my friend Meg...

3) She kept me up till midnight.... my bedtime is 10:30 on the nose

2) She forced me to make dessert last night which interrupted my drinking for at least 10 minutes.

Dining Room Furniture

Happy days!!! - We had our furniture delivered yesterday and it is fantastic. However, Annie does not share my same sentiments and is quite upset about the whole ordeal. Her room has been taken over and to be fair I may just have to give her one of Drew's "rooms". Which in reality consists of the garage, his office and the bonus room... so he doesn't have a whole lot of space to begin with, but little girl needs a place to call her own.


This is the st that we ended up with and as many of you are aware there were more than just issues with the whole kit and kaboodle. All the same we ended up with a great set and I am very, very happy.

Shutters

I have made an executive decision... Drew will be installing shutters this weekend whether he likes it or not. I have done enough research and I will be picking them up later today. I just have to go home and measure the windows first, which might be a little tricky b/c of the second floor. But by God I will figure it out and then Shutter City here we come!!!!!

Painting 101

I was "allowed" to paint this weekend and at first I was quite excited however, after a brief five minutes, I realized that painting was in fact; work. To my disappointment I was not allowed to put the paint brush down and go watch the Food Network... NO I had to keep helping! DRATS

So now we are done with the living and dining room areas and in two weeks we are going to paint the den. This time it will go a lot faster due to the small amount of wall space that makes up that area plus the TV is in there and I can watch the Food Network while we paint. That's using the big brain!!!!

In Cold Blood

OK - In preparation of seeing the movie "Capote" I have decided to reread "In Cold Blood". Which I must say is scaring the bejesus out of me. So I am not sure if I will be able to finish reading it b/c the nightmares are hellacious.
