Catch Me If You Can....

I thought this blog would be dedicated too the past two weekends. OK -

Father's DayWeekend - My Dad, Stepmother, Brother and Sister-in-Law (David, Nancy, Keith and Bethani) came down for the weekend. We had a really good time and took them around Beale Street and pretty much just got snockered together. The only low point was that Nancy introduced my puppy to Chicken Jerky and now she refuses to eat anything else and I am not sure as how to stop this madness. We had a great time showing them around on Saturday and it is neat when you can see Memphis through the eyes of "tourists", it was raining so they missed out on the street performers but still had a good time.... and it was great to be able to see my Dad on Father's Day.

This weekend - Didn't do a whole lot... went to Home Depot and Lowe's to get the things that we will need to redo our bathroom next weekend and Drew started to break down the tile and whatnot in the bathroom already, so we should be finished by the end of this weekend, God willing.

Saddam Hussein a.k.a. The Next Gandhi

I am reading MSNBC this morning minding my own business when I come upon this ridiculous story. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13495887/.

Now let me explain something here real quick for those of you who may not know... Skipping one meal, a hunger strike does not make. All he has managed to do was go on a diet!

These maniacal mass-murdering dictators just kill me, with their wacky stunts!

It's not a tumor

I wore these really great pair of sandals on Monday and I got a pretty nasty blister by the time the day was over. OK - that's fine, no big deal I made sure to put Neosoporin on it and called it a day. Well, guess what? It is now infected and I am certain that I will be forced to amputate.

Best Tuesday Ever

It is only 11:21 and so much has happened already...

Annie, was laying on the bed this morning and when she "attempted" too jump off the bed she got tangled in the sheets and pretty much just fell off the bed. This made me laugh hysterically b/c it is not the first time she's fallen, and knowing how graceful she is, it won't be the last.

I went out to a customers this morning and lo and behold the woman had chest hair. I swear she had chest hair!!! It took everything I had not too stare at it. I think I pulled it off rather well and she only gave me a dirty look once or twice.. It's whatever. The only thing I have to say about that is... SHAVE, for the love of God.

At lunchtime I am meeting Drew and we are picking up our vanity for the 1/2 bath and this weekend we are picking up the rest of the goodies. I am super psyched about getting that done.

5 Reasons why I like Allen

Apparently, my buddy Allen took offense to my previous blog as to why I don't like him.. so I thought I might try and consider others feelings and blog about why I do like him. Here goes nothin..

5 - Because he let's me mix my alcoholic beverages when Drew does not.
4 - He is funnier than shit when he is drunk "Dude"
3 - He is scared of me....
2 - Can't think of anything for reason # 2
1 - He is a true friend (more like family, really) and would do anything for you, makes you laugh and is a pretty smart guy (minus the "yard" thing)

Alright that's it; I have been nicer to Allen in this little blog than I have EVER been. Al, I hope you appreciate all the hard work that went into this and know that I really do like you.... but I still want to hit you sometimes.

I D 10 T Error

In other news - I have fixed the "Drew" blog... it has been removed and should not be seen or heard from again. Anonymous - I hope that makes you happy.

Double Shot

I have the biggest caffeine buzz ever!!!!! This week at Target, Drew was minus adult supervision and purchased Starbucks Doubleshot Expresso drinks. Let me tell you a little somethin' about those drinks... they are a gift from God. I am in heaven, albeit the humming in my head is a little obnoxious but other than that I am fan-freakin-tastic! Point proven by the fact that I am in the office today and it is a Friday.

10 Reasons why I don't like Allen

10 - He sends me stupid emails like the one above and thinks he's a freakin' riot
9 - He tried to kill us on July 4th, 2001 with his "fantastic" grilling skills
8 - He doesn't know how to pop start his 1964 Corvette and quite frankly that's sad
7 - The dog has more responsibilities in the household than Al
6 - He thinks that there are 4 feet in a yard (damn engineers)
5 - He only eats white trash vegetables
4 - Because he likes blended whiskey's - What the fuck is that about?
3 - He pukes way too much for a grown man.... more like a 2nd grade girl ( Wally you know what that's like; don't ya)
2 - Sometimes, when I look at him I have the uncontrollable urge to hurt him
1 - Do it, Do it, Do it

It's been awhile....

Sorry about that everyone I know it has been over a week since my last blog.... the thing is I have nothing exciting to talk about.
Memorial Day weekend
We went to Kansas City and that was a blast! We saw some great friends and just hung out. The boys got hammered on Friday night and out of that came some great comments.
"I am in charge" and "Fishallen"
I overserved myself on Sunday night and decided that I wanted to fight one of Allen and Michele's friends, with a bottle of Peppermint Schnapps as my weapon of choice. That's when Drew decided it might be time for bed and I was escorted to our bedroom but, I didn't go straight to bed. No, that wouldn't be any fun so instead, I jumped on the bed and giggled while poor Drew tried to get me to go to sleep. Needless to say Monday on the flight back I felt like CRAP!!! We slept most of Monday off and on...

This past week we got the back yard ready for sodding and sodded this weekend. The yard looks great and it will be ready for Drew's party this weekend.

In other news this month is Gay and Lesbian Pride Month..... is there a Heterosexual Pride Month? More on that later...

Peace Out
